Day 18: St, Moritz, Switzerland - Luxury by the Lake

St. Moritz, Switzerland

We awoke in a new place.  Saint Moritz, Switzerland, in a small apartment overlooking Saint Moritz.  The view was amazing.  

I decided to explore in the best way I know how.  I got on my running clothes and hit the road.  I started uphill, seeing the city in a new light.  

I ran and walked through downtown, the train station, and around the lake.  It was beautiful and cool in the shade.  

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

I brought drinks back to the family and we got ready to see the town.  We noticed a lot of very expensive shops like Prada and Gucci.

 

 

 

I took them up hill, retracing my steps during my morning run.  But by the time we reached downtown, it started to rain.  We made our wet way quickly to the cafe, where we waited out the majority of the rain. 

 

 

 

 

After most of the rain had stopped, we walked up hill to St. Moritz leaning tower.

 

 

 

 

 

 We stopped by a chocolate shop for some local pastries.  It started raining again, so we went shopping at a grocery store.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We dropped the food at home and walked a half mile south to a hotel with multiple restaurants.  We choose a swiss restaurant that had a buffet.  It was pretty amazing.
